Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is happy wait until the January transfer window to strengthen his squad.

The Swede has made a host of signings this summer, is happy to wait until the New Year before bolstering his new-look squad.

"We know that we have funds to do something in January, if we think we need it," he told Sky Sports News.

"We have a good squad, a good team, so taking in new players just to make up the numbers. I don't like that idea.

"I'm very happy with the situation. At this moment I don't expect anyone else to come in.

"It's important to know that we have possibilities to bring in a top-class player, or players in January."
