Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson was purring about Elano after the Brazilian's goal scoring performance in Saturday's victory over Newcastle United.
"That free-kick can't be taken better can it? It almost brushed bar and post.
"It's always easier to be the manager with good football players as long as they want to work as a collective.
"And people like Elano will do that.
"They are good footballers but they want to do the work, which is very important.
"And they don't try to get the ball and dribble past five players. They play football, which is good to see."
