Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is confident of gelling his multi-national squad.
Eriksson said: "I feel more positive than I did this morning after that performance. I liked what I saw. I am sorry we could not score a goal for them [the supporters], but they will come in the Premier League, I hope.
"We have some good young players, and I think we will have an exciting team this season. In seven days we will be better, that's for sure. We will be more of a team.
"It is difficult to make a team in less than one month. It's not easy, but I like it. But in fact, more than that, I love the job.
"It's pressure, but there is that in any job, and I like that. I had one year without pressure, and I didn't like it."
