Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson says he's already working on plans for the summer market.

He told City's website: "This summer will be very different for me as I will be fully involved here, I arrived late and did not know about the club or the players. Now I do, and we have a lot of time to know what we want.

"I can tell you that already we know, more or less, what we want this summer because we have plenty of time to work on it.

"Clubs don't want to release their players in January, and it would be the same here if someone wanted to sign one of our best players, it would not leave us with enough time to bring some-one new in."
