The agent of Sven Goran Eriksson has revealed he came close to accepting the Bulgaria job.

"I was impressed by Borislav Mihaylov's (BFU president) approach... Everything was going in the right direction," said Patrick Mork, who explained that negotiations fell through after Eriksson received contact from Thaksin Shinawatra's representatives over the job at Manchester City.
