Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson says a top four finish this season is unlikely.

After victory over Aston Villa, Eriksson said: "I would be happy if the league was finished now! At the end of the season, the four big clubs will be there - if you look at their squads I suppose you can't see any different.

"I don't feel we should start to talk about places in the table.

"I don't think it's realistic for us to stay up there, although I would love to say 'Yes, it is possible'."
