Manchester City management will back Roberto Mancini against any player revolt.
The City boss has become embroiled in a war of words with Carlos Tevez, telling the Argentine striker to find another club if is unhappy with life at the club.
Mancini has also had run-ins with firebrand Craig Bellamy over his training methods.
But a City insider told the Sunday Mirror: "Some of the noises coming from Tevez have been worrying. Roberto Mancini has addressed the issue with Tevez, but the club wants to ensure the problem is resolved immediately.
"The bottom line is that Roberto Mancini is manager and will be allowed to manage. He will have the final decision on which players he can work with and which are surplus to requirements."
