Manchester City's board have no regrets swapping Roberto Mancini with Manuel Pellegrini last summer.
Despite sitting in ninth place on the table, City chiefs are adamant Mancini had to go, says the Sunday Telegraph.
That is the consensus at City and, certainly, he would not have saved himself had he won the FA Cup last season. The decision to dismiss him had already been taken and did not hinge on City's drab performance that day at Wembley.
