Manchester City are launching a bid for AS Roma star Daniele de Rossi.
The Sunday Express says Mancini is expected to increase his bid for Italian international midfielder De Rossi as he attempts to put in place a squad equipped to defend the Premier League title and make an impact in the Champions League.
Mancini aims to force through a deal for Roma playmaker De Rossi, though his club want around £20m.
