Manchester City have made an improved bid for Fiorentina striker Valeri Bojinov.
La Nazione says City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has made a new £7 million offer for the Bulgaria international after having him scouted on Friday in a friendly against Veneto.
Bojinov is keen on the move, with Eriksson enjoying an excellent reputation in Italy for his work with young players.
