Manchester City still have a lot of work to do after agreeing a fee with Porto for Eliaquim Mangala. The Daily Star says City have had a £32m bid for France defender Mangala accepted by Porto.
But City now face an anxious wait to see if Chelsea make a move, with Jose Mourinho also keen.
Mangala, who has two years left on his contract, is believed to prefer a move to Chelsea but the Blues are yet to make their move.
He says his future will be sorted after the World Cup: "It is true that I love the Premier League because it is a spectacular championship.
"Every player wants to move to bigger clubs. I am an ambitious player and team I choose must be one that allows me to win titles.
"My goal is the World Cup and we'll see what happens after that. I told my agent that I did not want to know anything about a transfer until after the World Cup."
