Manchester City made a surprise bid for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente this month.
Llorente only moved to Juve this summer on a Bosman from Athletic Bilbao.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Juve have rejected loan enquiries from Manchester City and Barcelona for Llorente.
City's move suggests manager Manuel Pellegrini isn't satisfied with his current striker options.
