Manchester City want to add Celtic young gun Karamoko Dembele to their academy ranks.

The Sun is reporting that City are keen on luring the enormously talented 13-year-old from Glasgow to their £200million Etihad Campus as they continue to scout top youngsters across Europe.

Dembele attracted headlines when he debuted for Celtic's U20 side recently and now Pep Guardiola's City are eager to make a move after monitoring him for the past few months.

A City source told The Sun: "He has been on the radar for a number of months now. He is very talented.

"The club is always searching around Europe for another potential star and Dembele is one being looked at."

City will use the lure of the nearby St Bede's private school in an attempt to land Dembele but his signature will not come easy as the Bhoys are desperate to keep him in Scotland for as long as possible.
