Manchester City are willing to send Carlos Tevez back to Argentina.
The Sunday Mirror says City are prepared to promise their talismanic captain a free transfer that would enable him to return to his homeland - if he commits himself to the club for the next two years.
Under the terms of the "gentleman's agreement" Tevez would go back to his roots at the age of 29 in 2013. He has constantly complained about being homesick and his desire to return to his boyhood heroes Boca Juniors.
And City manager Roberto Mancini is ready to allow him to pursue his dream end to his career if he helps them challenge for the Premier League title and Champions League over the next two seasons.
