Manchester City striker Marcos Lopes is unsure where he will be playing next season.

Lopes is currently on-loan with Lille.

"Wherever I play I want to play in a professional league, because I think it's the only way that I can improve.

"And I will work for that, either here or City or wherever, I just want to play football because that's what I want to do, and I want to be in the top level of football, the highest level."

He added: "The best position for me and the position that I like to play is as a number ten, behind the striker, because I'm a player who likes to be with the ball.

"In that position I have more of the ball and I can create. Of course I like to score goals but for me in this position, what is important for me is to make the team play, and if I score goals it's even better."
