Assistant Manchester City boss David Platt feels Tottenham are "genuine title contenders" but hopes they end the season in second spot, behind City.
"He should still be proud if he finishes second and he is a point behind us.
"Tottenham have been at the party for a long time and I am glad that everyone else is seeing it.
"They have had a tremendous season and have 18 games left, like us and Manchester United, where they can amass enough points to win the league.
"The feeling is that they have been under the radar for a little bit. Maybe we are living with the City-United rivalry in Manchester and in London it is a different thing.
"But we should all be aware they are genuine title contenders." "Harry has a right to be proud at what he has done," said the former England star.
