Manchester City are interested in Valencia winger Juan Mata.

City are already in talks with Valencia for David Silva and have asked about teammate Pablo Hernandez during a meeting last week.

The News of the World says another Los Che star, Mata, is another on City's shopping list.

Mata could arrive at Eastlands as an alternative to Silva, who has turned down a five-year contract offer from City since the end of last season.
