Manchester City are keeping tabs on Iker Casillas' situation at Real Madrid.
City and Arsenal are being linked with Casillas, who remains on the outer at Real as coach Carlo Ancelotti goes with Diego Lopez as his No1.
City midfielder Jesus Navas admitted last week he'd welcome Casillas to the Etihad, while Malaga coach Bernd Schuster can't see him staying should his situation fail to change before January.
City are regarded ahead of Arsenal in their interest for Casillas, with manager Manuel Pellegrini having doubts over the quality of Joe Hart.
Casillas will push for a move in January if he fears his World Cup place is in jeopardy.
