Manchester City are moving for Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel.

AC Milan have been in talks with Benfica over a swap deal for Witsel involving former QPR fullback Taye Taiwo.

But O Jogo says City boss Roberto Mancini has registered his interest in Witsel and asked Benfica to be kept up-to-speed on the situation.

Mancini is a big fan of Witsel and has been recommended the youngster by his City captain Vincent Kompany.
