Manchester City have confirmed the transfer of Maicon to the Premier League Champions from Inter Milan. The 31 year old brings considerable international and European experience with him to City, with the Brazilian defender having graced the 2010 World Cup and 2010 UEFA Champions League final.
"Brazilian defender Maicon has joined Manchester City on a permanent contract," read a statement released on the club's official website.
"The right-back moves to the Blues from Inter Milan for an undisclosed fee."
