Manchester City and German 2.Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are discussing the possibility of entering a partnership agreement.
The second tier German outfit are hoping they can bring in some City fringe players to lift them back to the top flight with general manager Bruno Hubner revealing that talks are underway.
"We are trying to fix this, of course. Manchester City is a big club with a lot of talented players," he told Frankfurter Rundschau.
"Actually their pay-roll features 45 players. Not all of them are to play first-team at the club. That's understandable."
