Manchester City plan to hand David Silva a bumper pay-hike this summer.
The Daily Mail says City will attempt to tie their talisman Silva to a new long-term contract this summer, despite suggestions the Spain midfielder is homesick.
With the 26-year-old playmaker halfway through the four-year deal he signed in the summer of 2010, City are keen to elevate him to their top £250,000-a-week pay scale enjoyed by players like Yaya Toure and Carlos Tevez.
