Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure insists he was close to Mario Balotelli when he was in England.

Balotelli left City almost 12 months ago for AC Milan.

Toure recalled: "Mario Balotelli used to wind me up a lot, he would tease me. It was very interesting to be with him.

"He is very young, He reacts instantly. But he is a nice guy, who is very pleasant. Sometimes, though, when I wanted him to do something, he would just say, 'No!'"
