Man City ace Tevez's blast at Man Utd's Neville may've been lost in translation

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez's blast at his former Manchester United captain Gary Neville may have been 'slightly' lost in translation.

Tevez launched a second attack on Neville yesterday, accusing him of being an 'idiot' and a 'creep'.

However, the Daily Mail says in his interview, given in Spanish, Tevez described Neville as a 'tarado'. It is a word that, in its strongest and most literal translation, means retard. It could also be translated as moron, jerk, dimwit or idiot.

Tevez could argue that the word is not considered overly-offensive especially when used between friends. The Spanish use the word tarado as they use the word 'loco' to describe someone who is a bit mad or crazy.
