Manchester City midfielder David Silva believes they have a mental edge on Manchester United thanks to their 1-6 victory.

The Spaniard was in inspired form as City ran riot at Old Trafford six months ago.

Silva said: "I don't think United are nervous but they know we have got closer to them and, with the 6-1, could feel more pressure.

"The atmosphere will be fantastic. Everybody at City wants to win the league and even more so by defeating our arch-rivals.

"Our season will be on the line. We have to win - whatever it takes."
