Manchester City ace Robinho admits he's been stunned by the hammering he's copped in the Premiership.

Robinho said: "I thought I would find it harder to adapt than I have. But I haven't got used to the kickings I've taken.

"When I first came over, I was surprised that the referees did not even blow for a foul when I was kicked in animalistic style. It was truly unbelievable.

"My English is getting better. I can understand the fans, as I listen to hip-hop, but speaking well is a bit more difficult."
