Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri blames last season's poor form on a Euros hangover.

The Frenchman clashed with journalists during Euro2012.

Nasri admitted: "I didn't have a good season because I was traumatised by what happened in the European Championship. I didn't perform for six months. I had family problems as well. Now I just want to give back to the people who brought me to the club.

"When you're really good on the pitch they forgive you for anything bad you might have done off it."
