Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard has been house-hunting in New York.

Lampard is joining New York City FC at the end of this month.

The Daily Mail says Lampard was spotted viewing a $39.8million (£26m) New York home in Manhattan's West Village with his fiancee Christine Bleakley ahead of their move to the Big Apple.

The property, previously rented for two years by actor Robert De Niro, boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a seven-car garage and 360-degree views of the New York skyline. The 9,000 sq ft apartment would cost $95,000 (£64,000) per month to rent.
