Ilkay Gundogan is ready to open new contract talks with Manchester City.

The Sun says Gundogan is set to reject advances from Barcelona in January and commit his future to Manchester City.

The midfielder has two years remaining on his £90,000-a-week deal at the Etihad Stadium and appears happy to extend his stay under Pep Guardiola.

The 27-year-old is also attracting interest from AC Milan and clubs in the Bundesliga.

But he is keen to commit his long-term future and sign improved terms.
