Manchester City ace Sergio Aguero admits he could follow Argentina teammate Lionel Messi into international retirement.

The Barcelona star has shocked the world by declaring the Copa America final on Sunday was his last game for Argentina.

Reacting to the news, Aguero admitted: "Messi is probably not the only one to leave the team. There are several players who may consider not to continue."

Aguero admitted he could be among those quitting due to "all the things that have been going on".

Asked about the atmosphere inside the locker room after defeat to Chile, Aguero added: "We're all shattered.

"The worst is Leo. I've never seen him so low."
