Man City, AC Milan target Hamsik postpones Napoli contract talks

Marek Hamsik has put off scheduled contract talks with Napoli.

Sportmediaset says Napoli were due to meet with Hamsik's agents yesterday in Rome, but the summit has now been postponed for a later date.

It's understood the decision came from Hamsik's side, where Mino Raiola and George Venglos are handling his affairs.

AC Milan and Manchester City are among European giants keen on the Slovakia international and Raiola has a good relationship with both clubs.

For their part, Napoli are keen to upgrade Hamsik's current four-year deal from being worth €1.7 million-a-year to €1.9 million-a-year. The Azzurri are particularly anxious as in the current situation, Hamsik could invoke FIFA article 17 and leave on a free from 2013.
