Man City in £20M talks for CSKA Moscow star trio

Manchester City are in talks with CSKA Moscow over an amazing £20 million deal for their star Brazilian trio Jo, Daniel Carvalho and Vagner Love.

The Mirror says Love, Alves and Carvalho would cost a combined total of around £20million, with owner Thaksin Shinawatra trying to come to an agreement with the Russians over when the money is paid.

Love is the first-choice target and interest in him led to a meeting between CSKA officials and City last weekend when the grand plan came up, brokered by super-agent Pini Zahavi.

Love, Alves and Carvalho went to Moscow because there was so much money on offer, but now they want to try their luck in the Premier League.

All three would need to apply for work permits in a hurry and it may be difficult as they are not regulars in the Brazilian national side - but City are hoping to resolve that issue.

Love would be the easiest player to bring in because his qualifications are better than Alves, who has vowed not to play for Brazil again after a fall-out with coach Dunga, while Carvalho has huge competition for a midfield place.
