Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda hopes Didier Drogba stays.

Shanghai Shenhua are convinced the Ivorian will join them when he comes off contract in June.

But Malouda said: "He's a huge name in the club's history. Even if his contract ends in June, he's said he will give everything.

"I'm surprised he will leave for China. He is young, despite his 34 years and works on pure emotion. I do not know if he has already made his decision, but I'd prefer he stay."
