Malouda unhappy with Chelsea contract policy

Florent Malouda has revealed he's in new contract talks with Chelsea.

Malouda claims to have had two meetings with Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck on the subject, however, the club are only prepared to discuss year-by-year deals with players over the age of 30.

"I have asked to prolong (my stay) several times," he said in France Football. "I have had two meetings with the chairman.

"But the club's policy is to sign players beyond the age of 30 one year after another. That is my situation.

"I would like to have a contract until 2014, with the World Cup an objective in my mind.

"I would like it to be clear for everyone. I am aiming to end my career at Chelsea."

I would offer Boswinga and Malouda plus cash for Robben hitting his prime him on one side Naymer if he stops talking and signs on the other wether in 433 or 442. they might just start supplying Drogba/Torres the ammo they deserve instead of the crap they were getting from Malouda and Anelka/Ka;ou. Also Essien and Lampard need to start proving themselves in midfield or accept bench warming as Ramires is currently ahead of both. Mikel bench warming too in comes Tiote for any holding role. A right back to replace Boswinga and i'm happy. BYE BYE Malouda,Zhrikov,Boswinga,Kalou,Anelka and if i had my way Mikel. Oh and no holding midfielder for home games.

He does not deserve anything. He has a good one month spell and along with Kalou, he thinks he is an asset to the club. Either he takes what he gets or he can leave. I'm surprised piet de visser hasn't recommended Chelsea sign Dzsudzsak from psv, he'll be a great squad player.

Some many good options to replace him, hopefully they'll be more consistent.

Further on left Kakuta could be joined by Willian, Antoine Griezmann, Balasz Dszudszak or Juan Mata. I’m a big Diego Perotti fan too though, despite this wealth of options Zhirkov playing more and further forward may be a simpler cheaper solution.

Bale is rather overrated regards his league performances and also rather overpriced, however he is a genuine big game performer and it is highly likely that we will look to augment our midfield as well this summer, when Bale’s not on song he could be replaced by Ramires or Lampard. We also still have Yuri Zhirkov, (who really deserves more game time than he gets) and Malouda is now increasingly looking his age. If we further consider our options on the left, Vargas, Coentrao, Greizmann, Dszudszak, Perotti, Mata, Monreal and Willian, there are a wealth of talented playmakers and even some proven goalscorers, but no Bale esque game breakers. There is an argument that we need a Mata or Willian far more than we need a Bale, and 90% of the time that would be true, but that 10% may be a Champions League semi final.
