Malouda pleased for Chelsea pal Sturridge after 2-goal blast

Florent Malouda was delighted for Chelsea teammate Danny Sturridge after his brace in their FA Cup win over Watford.

The French winger is backing Sturridge to help fill the void left by Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou.

"Daniel has been wonderful in training," said Malouda.

"He was injured before and struggled but he has been working really hard.

"He deserved to score the goals. As you can see when he comes into the team, he's really confident. He's bringing something to the team and he's playing in a positive way. It's a good opportunity for him now to show his quality and he deserves it."
