Malouda happy at Chelsea

Florent Malouda insists he's happy at Chelsea under new manager Avram Grant.

Malouda admitted some regret in the wake of Jose Mourinho's departure, but told The Sun: "Our success is built on a combination of hard work and talent.

"Above all, a collective spirit helps us perform at a consistently high level."

Malouda, who was linked with Liverpool before joining Chelsea, admits his £13.5million switch to Stamford Bridge did not go as smoothly as he had hoped.

He added: "I'm very happy at Chelsea. My transfer wasn't straightforward but now I have to do everything I can to succeed here.

"My aims for the season are to settle at my new club so I can start to really express myself out on the pitch as fast as possible.

"But more importantly, I want to win trophies for the team."
