Florent Malouda described Chelsea's 4-0 defeat of Champions League rivals Bordeaux as "perfect".
"We are glad with this performance in front of our fans," Malouda told setantasports.com. "Chelsea achieved the perfect game and I reckon starting the group stages with a comfortable win is what we were all wishing for.
"As far as I'm concerned, scoring and being applauded by the fans means a lot.
"We are now in the driving seat and will try to qualify for the last 16 as quickly as possible in order to feel relaxed."
