Malouda agent denies Chelsea exit talk

Florent Malouda's agent has been quick to deny fresh reports that his client is set to switch Chelsea for Liverpool in the summer.

Malouda was close to joining the Reds last summer, before Chelsea outbid them by offering the France international £60,000 a week in wages.

Now, according to the Sun, Liverpool have resurrected their interest in the ex Lyon winger and have reportedly made a bid to sign Malouda for around £10million.

"I would be very surprised to receive an offer from Liverpool for Florent, after what happened last year," he said, before revealing that he recently had a meeting with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger - though not concerning Malouda.

"I met with Arsene Wenger on Wednesday, but saying that it is about Florent and Arsenal is a wrong rumour," he added.
