Aston Villa midfielder Shaun Maloney has hinted he remains unsettled in Birmingham.

"I can't blame anybody," he told Scotland on Sunday. "I've made my bed and need to lie in it. Maybe I look at things deeper than I should but it is not like I am whinging. Everyone at Villa has made me as welcome as they could and I've not helped myself by living in a serviced apartment and not getting a proper place.

"The transfer window has just shut and that is finished for now. Within a few days of that, I don't to be talking about the next window. I guess I know what people want me to say."
