Swedish midfielder Erik Friberg is reportedly considering a return to Major League Soccer.
skanskan.se suggests that the 27-year old is the subject of an offer from former club Seattle Sounders which Malmo FF are believed to be pondering.
Malmo's CEO Per Nilsson said: "Our sports director Daniel Andersson informed me on Sunday that Erik Friberg wanted an opportunity to talk with Seattle. We have said yes."
Friberg spent the 2011 MLS season with the Sounders and is keen to head back to CenturyLink Field despite being contracted at Malmo until this summer.
It is believed that Seattle will pay less than $1million for Friberg who has represented Sweden on two occasions.
