Real Mallorca fired seven goals past Recreativo Huelva goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino in yesterday's 7-1 victory.
Juan Arango struck a hat-trick, while there were a doubles for Mallorca striker Dani Guiza and midfielder Borja Valero.
Afterwards, Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano said: "I must recognize that this has been an even team performance. We entered the game with certain respect for Recreativo. They came at us in good form, but once we scored the first goal, we did not sit back, we knew to play, to combine, and the ones that most benefited with that approach were Arango, Guiza and Borja Valero.
"We have made history for Mallorca, but we have only won three points."
