Real Mallorca are ready to open new contract talks with winger Jonas Gutierrez.
The new Argentina international is in co-ownership at Mallorca with Velez Sarsfield and the Spanish Liga club are keen to secure Jonas to a new deal to ward off interest from European rivals, including Portsmouth.
