FC Dallas midfielder Julian de Guzman is being heavily linked with a move to Spanish club Mallorca.
Reports suggest that the 31-year old Canadian international had signed with Mallorca on Monday but it has been revealed that the La Liga outfit have not yet secured his services but are indeed interested.
"Just spoke to Julian de Guzman's agent who told me he HAS NOT signed with Mallorca," Rogers Sportsnet's John Molinaro posted on Twitter.
"Agent said Mallorca is interested but so are other clubs in Europe and that Julian has a few options. Nothing close to being signed yet."
de Guzman has previous Spanish top flight experience with Deportivo la Coruna as well as spending time with German club Hannover and in his homeland with Toronto FC.
