Alberto Malesani has promised fans entertainment as he prepares to take on the coaching post.

The former Bologna boss is set to be unveiled on Monday by President Enrico Preziosi, replacing Davide Ballardini on the bench.

"We'll entertain the fans, as I play attacking football," Malesani told La Repubblica newspaper.

"We will use the 3-4-3 system, as you can guarantee Genoa will take the game to their opponents."
