Tottenham midfielder Steed Malbranque underlined the unity in the Spurs squad by celebrating with substitute Didier Zokora after scoring the opener against Derby on Saturday.

"Didier was on the bench, and he told me I would score and if I was to score to go over to him after the goal," said the French midfielder.

"It was good to have something like that in the team; if one player doesn't start, it's not just about the 11 players who do start but also about the squad."
