Malaga are being linked with Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The Daily Mail says Malaga owner Abdullah Al-Thani has already spent over £50million bringing in new players this summer and is looking to succeed where others have failed so far by attempting to lure Berbatov from Old Trafford.
He may have timed it right as the Bulgarian started United's last two games on the bench and will be mindful that Mexico goal machine Javier Hernandez has yet to come back into the squad.
Berbatov has had a disappointing couple of months with the peak of his frustration coming with news he was being left out of the Champions League final with Barcelona. He has since vowed to fight for his place stating that leaving United is only a step down.
