Malaga have snapped up free agent Enzo Maresca.

The well-travelled 30-year-old was a free agent and training in Italy while he waited to find a new club.

He had ended his experience in Greece with Olympiakos and was linked with the likes of Inter, Napoli, Genoa and Fiorentina.

However, it was made official this evening that he has signed for Malaga with a contract that expires in June 2012.

Maresca has had a long and varied career playing for the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Juventus, Bologna, Piacenza, Fiorentina, Sevilla and Olympiakos.
