Malaga are in talks with Watford for Adalberto Peñaranda.

AS says negotiations have been smooth and the Venezuelan teen is just a step away from signing in a six month loan deal with Malaga.

Peñaranda only joined Watford 12 months ago from Granada, before being loaned back for the remainder of the season.

He has been playing on-loan with Udinese this term, but has struggled for minutes.

Which is why Watford management are happy for the attacker to return to Spain with Malaga this month.
