Spanish club Malaga have played down reports that Santi Cazorla has agreed terms with Arsenal.
It was reported earlier on Tuesday that the Gunners were close to signing the 27-year old attacking midfielder but a Malaga source indicated to Sky Sports that the proposed transfer was actually not on the cards.
"Cazorla is not for sale, we do not talk about rumours in the press and our plans are not to even negotiate his exit," the source confirmed.
Cazorla was believed to be set to sign a £20million deal with the Gunners - £15m less than his release clause - but more recent reports suggest that nothing of the sort was close to occurring.
