Malaga have completed the signing of Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla.
Malaga announced on Tuesday night they had reached a deal with Villarreal to sign Cazorla and the 26-year-old has now passed his medical and penned a five-year contract with the Andalusian club.
Malaga have placed a 45million euros buy-out clause in the midfielder's contract and he will be presented on Monday, August 1, the club confirmed on their website.
No fee has been announced for Cazorla but reports in Spain suggest Malaga will pay around 20million euros, which would be a club record.
Cazorla becomes the 10th new arrival at La Rosaleda this summer, following the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Joaquin and Jeremy Toulalan, and he will link up with his new team-mates on their current tour to Holland.
